Welcome to this site about the Black experience in Illinois. We are on a mission to identify all relevant content in cyberspace, county by county, covering all aspects of life and history. The result is a a compilation of online content: a webliography. This edition covers 101 of the 102 counties in Illinois. By fall 2011 we’ll be adding Cook County and Chicago. We welcome comments and criticism as we build on our collective intelligence.
